Cas interview

I had a CAS interview this month. During this interview, I had a conversation with my coordinator about my CAS plan and CAS as a whole. It’s great to have participated in this interview since it made me better understand some aspects of CAS, for example the creativity aspect of it. At first I just thought that you do something creative, like paint, for example and that’s it. But after the interview I had became aware of the fact that everything, including painting needs to have a point behind it. More specifically, if I am to learn how to play guitar, it needs to have good motivation behind it, not just “I want to do it for myself”.

As with other things, I had read enough about CAS before to understand why it needs to be done. In other words, I knew that we do it not only to give back to society, but also to grow ourselves, to mature as people through good deeds and overcoming challenges that we put up for ourselves. And reflections just make us better realize why we do certain things and what the outcomes are for us.

In a nutshell, the CAS interview was necessary to make sure that I had gotten my view about CAS right, more or less, and it helped me with understanding the creativity side of it.
