Acting

This year I started acting. I go to a theatre studio called “6 pojūčiai”. There are lessons every Monday and Wednesday.

I was very nervous to start acting at first because I wasn’t sure if I will be any good at it or if it will suit me. Plus, there is stress from becoming involved in something that I’ve never done before with a group of people that I’ve never seen.

Nevertheless, I figured I’d go for it as I want to study acting later on in university. At first I tried to get into the stronger group, but I was told that in order to do that, I must perform very well in the regular group.

I started out in the regular group and to my surprise, I actually loved it. The atmosphere and the training were all great and I felt like I was really in my element. Anything from physical exercises to psychological exercises excite me. This is only the start, but I sincerely hope that the upcoming month will be just as good, as this month alone made me open up and taught me how to deal with stress better through various exercises.

Hopefully, I can get better and step up into the stronger group soon.
