This month I worked with my teacher on developing a quick warm-up for me that I could use before my auditions when I go to London. Additionally, because I need to prepare a musical number for the auditions, I learned Can’t Take My Eyes Off You by Frankie Valli. I thought that it is a nice warm song which could contrast well with my monologues, as they are a bit dark. What me and my teacher noticed during the lessons was that my pitch got higher between February and this month. I am not sure why that is, but singing higher notes just became easier for me, however I lost a bit of my lower pitch, which I am not so happy about. But now I know that I can sing songs that I could not previously, which is a nice surprise. After preparing the warm-up and learning the song, the only thing to do next month is keep my voice in shape for the auditions.
